An average studio apartment in Toronto is 441 ft2
441/176 = 2.51
$27.49 x 2.51 = $69
So anyone claiming there's a war on cars can put it where the sun don't shine!

Apartment sq footage cost is $1720/441 ft² = $3.90 per ft²
Parking sq footage costs is $27.49/176 ft² = $0.156 per ft²
So the cost multiplier for residential vs parking is actually 25x
Oh wait, you're saying that an apartment would cost $69/month at parking rates. Gotcha
I’m not sure the TTC calculation is correct. You need to look at how much the city subsidy to the ttc changed, not the ttc budget.
The frozen fares for chows term meant 500m$ more in subsidy between 2023 and 2026…
