For scooters, it would be great if they were placed in stations like the Bike-Share system. I saw in Detroit how messy pedestrian traffic can get when they're left in front of entrances to stores. I am just dying for more electric options.
Yeah, I think a pilot project to add a small fleet of e-scooters to the Bike Share system was probably the way to make this happen. The whole issue got bogged down in a lot of lobbying and hypotheticals, when the city has a pretty darn good program already with Bike Share that could test the impact and viability of scooters.
